Vehicle Detail
Studebaker M5 Pickups and Parts This auction is for a multi year collection of M Series Studebaker trucks and parts. Included are two M5 pickups with titles, an extra M5 cab, two M16 cabs, two additional M5 frames, fenders, front grills, side grills, gas tanks, radiators, M5 wheels, an extra hood, running boards, headlight buckets and associated sheet metal, hood side pieces, core supports, springs, front axles, transmissions, several doors, pick up beds and bed parts, seat springs, rear axles, bumpers, etc. The pictures included in this listing and and the additional ones linked to below show most of the items that are included. This collection is being sold in its entirety. I do not want to take the time or energy to piece it out. The low reserve reflects this. Please don’t ask to buy a specific part of this collection. It is an opportunity for someone to put together at least one nice M5 (and probably two or three) PLUS have enough parts left over to sell to pay for the original purchase price of the collection...OR for someone to put themselves in the M5 parts business and return several multiples of the original purchase price. Truck #1 (1946) is a very good candidate for restoration. It has little to no rust through. It has a cut right door, but there are plenty of nice doors that go with this collection. Truck #2 (1947) needs floors, but is not otherwise rusted. Both trucks come with titles. The trucks are from dry North Dakota and Idaho. The three extra cabs are relatively rust free with some rust in all in the A pillars. The M16 cabs have the indented firewall and are the best candidates for use in a V8 conversion because of this. All the sheet metal is good. Some dents and dings and surface rust, but no rust through. The two extra frames are clean, straight, and not rusty. One has been sand blasted and primed. Please keep in mind that there is A LOT of stuff here. I estimate that it will probably take 3, maybe 4, flat deck single car carrier trailer loads to move it all. The winning bidder MUST take EVERYTHING. One of my goals is to clear these trucks and parts from my property.
