This is a original 1st generation Toyota MR 2. It only has 112,000 miles. The car has the original paint, original seats and upholstery. This is a nice car. It drives great. Just as fun now as it was in the eighties when it was a contemporary sports car. This is a TRD Package with the spoiler, seats, shift knob, and alloy wheels that mark this package. It has not been wrecked. The clutch feels perfect. The engine fires right up and pulls strong in each gear. The interior is in excellent condition. It does have the factory sunroof, which does not leak. The paint is a little weak. It shines up nice with a fresh coat of wax. The front bumper has some spots where the paint is flaked off. The tires are Michelins and in excellent condition. I was told by the previous owner the timing belt was replaced at 87,000 miles. There is a small hitch he used to mount a bike rack.
The things I know do not work are as follows. The air conditioning, the power locks, the power window switch on the drivers door that controls the passenger window. There is a modern am/fm/CD player with removable faceplate that sometimes acts flukey. The car just passed NC inspection. The car is completely stock as far as I can tell. It doesn't appear to have ever been modified. This is a good looking vintage MR2 that you can have a lot of fun with and get great fuel mileage. The engine is the twin cam Toyota Corolla engine of the mid eighties. Very reliable!
