Vehicle Detail
2003 Lincoln Towncar KBB $6200 (which accounts for mileage) If you check eBay you'll notice these vehicles can go and are for sale with 300k++ miles. This car does not show its mileage one bit and I've always driven mercedes, bmw's, lexus, and jags---so I can honestly say this is one of the best cars I've ever had. The ride quality and ammenties are not equalled by many brands. I used to have an '03 Lexus LS430 and I would put this car right there with it. I've also owned 7 series, S Type, and E-class again I'd take this baby everyday. The heated leather looks and feels amazing. The wood trim is beautiful and the carpets are all very clean. Also neither myself nor the previous owner are smokers---so it's always been a smoke free car 100%!!! So....why am I selling the car??? I drive 100+ miles to work everyday so I only keep a car for approx 6 months. I bought this car from the original owner in December of 2010 and it had 175k on the odometer. Since then I've put 25k miles on it. Now if you run a carfax you'll notice (I'm sure but I haven't checked) that I just registered the car a few weeks ago. I've always resold vehicles without ever putting my information in however I was warned that this is illegal and quite frankly wasn't worth the risk. I do have a bill of sale that I can show interested parties from December 2010. You can find 2002 and older models for much cheaper!!!! Why do 2003 models cost so much more??? It's not the fewer miles---it's because Lincoln made major changes to the ride quality and interior ammenities. You won't find a 2003 model for less money...I'd almost guarantee it since I'm not trying to get top dollar. I hate selling cars!! I'm done driving it so I just want it gone so I can enjoy my new summer car (porsche boxster ***which now you hopefully have no more questions as to why I'm ready to sell this car***) Last question if $6200 is KBB value which accounts for the mileage then why am I willing to let it go for less? Again I hate HATE hate selling cars and there are 3 issues: a.) the driver's seat doesn't adjust forward and backwards--the pedals are adjustable. I'm 6'2" and have had no problems and the previous owner was only 5'6" and had no issues either (please don't ask why I bought a boxster if I'm 6'2"---it's a fun car) b.) the driver's window sometimes takes a few minutes to come back up. It seems as the weather has gotten warmer that this isn't an issue but I'd rather disclose it and it turn up to be ok rather than the other way around. c.) the fuel door doesn't automatically open with the latch button anymore. I've just stuck a credit card next into the seams and it gently opens up with ease. These were never big issues to me...but they are there. Here are the additional features this car has: Heated Leather seats (driver and passenger) Rain sensing windshield wipers Rear parking sensors Auto dimming rear mirrors Adjustable pedals Steering wheel controls Memory seats Front and side airbags 2 sets of keyless entry fobs Premium speakers New tires New battery New alternator Again this has been a great car. It has one of the best rides of the cars I've owned and has ran flawlessly for me. The black leather interior looks brand new. It is a used car with 200k but similar models with 100k miles are going for 10k++ so this is a good deal. Any questions please call or text Mike at 616-325-8252
