Chance of a lifetime for the true Miata MX-5 enthusiat – my very rare 2005 Mazdaspeed Miata, factory turbo, close-ratio 6-speed, Titanium Grey, black sport cloth interior, black top. Near perfect condition with only 12,500 miles! Of the 5,428 MazdaSpeed MX-5s produced during model years 2004 and 2005, 4,000 were produced in 2004; the 2005 production run was shortened to only 1428, due to a fire at the production facility. Always garaged in the winter – never seen salt. This car has been absolutely babied, never raced. It has only been adult driven (I am 47 and the previous owner was in his 40s. It has the typical tiny nicks at the front of the car – not visible from more than a few feet. The left rear wheel has a very minor cosmetic curb rash – wouldn’t really show up in the photos. This would be easily fixed by the Rim Doctor if you really want. Here is the list of performance upgrades professionally installed: Flyin Miata downpipe Flyin Miata midpipe/cat Flyin Miata cat back exhaust Flyin Miata BOV/Cold side IC/TB pipe MBC - set at 9.5psi. (stock setting is 8.5 psi) This MX-5 is VERY quick - please don't buy this car for your high school senior. With these upgrades it is likely making in excess of 200 hp (stock is 178). At 2400 lbs, the hp to weight ratio is outstanding, and the Bosch torque-sensing limited slip differential is put to good use. The exhaust sounds fabulous – deep and a bit louder than stock, but not too loud or obnoxious. I’ve also installed the protective stainless steel grille, headlight and taillight bezels. The original Toyo Proxes tires have plenty of tread left. Please note that I drive this to work on nice days so the mileage will go up.
