Vehicle Detail
1952 Chevy 2 door hardtop Bel-Air Deluxe. This beauty has a few upgrades to include 12 volt conversion, 1970 250 cu in six cylinder with three on the tree and an open drive with .273 gears. The motor does not smoke or use any oil and will start very quickly with a touch of the starter button. This is a great driver since you can cruise at highway speeds and get great gas mileage or just take it easily on the back roads. At 70 mph it turns 2200 rpm’s and gets 24 mpg. Rebuilt drum brakes/master cylinder all the way around that stop quickly and straight, bucket seats and a under dash am/fm/cd player make it comfortable to drive on extended trips. The paint is over 13 years old and has held up well, it has a few bubble spots on the rear valance right below the trunk line and on the bottom of both doors. I believe that the small bubble spots are not ate up and would take minimum work to repair. All sheet metal (fenders, doors, hood, trunk, quarters, rockers) are all original and in nice shape. The front and rear chrome bumpers are prefect, the front grill has some small dings and damage and could be repaired and rechromed. The stainless is in good shape but has some dings from over the years, this is a driver, not a show car!. If you want to drive this car it is ready, if you would like to spend a little money on it to make it a fresh restore I have a low reserve where it won't break the bank. This is the rarest of the 52 Chevy’s besides the convertible, so please look up the blue book on it and see what it is worth. There are a few rust spots under the car that could be repaired easily, this car is not eaten up with rust, it's just 59 years old. One front windshied has a crack in it, otherwise the glass is perfect.
