Pictured is a 1960 Ford Ranchero pickup. Red on top and bottom with white insert. 6 cylinder with 3 speed manual transmission on the column. Speedometer shows 58,000 miles but who really knows. Found in Southern Iowa in storage for the past several years but has been driven several miles every summer and a little fresh gasoline every year. I drove it 70 miles home a couple weeks ago with no incidents. Drove straight and true. No front end shimmy, just noisy because the vehicles of yesteryear are not insulated from road noise as they are today.Body has been refurbished at some time in the past. Paint is OK but not perfect by any means and I'm sure there is some body filler from the previous restoration. The red has some redder spots in it like maybe it has been dripped on and it has several small dents in the top of the fenders and top like maybe almost like it has been hailed on a little bit. But not that bad. Someone who buys this will most probably make this a project car anyway and the paint and a few minor dings, dents and abrasions will just be expected on something 51 years old.Seat is covered with a rug seat cover and drivers side is saggy so seat will need work. Floors are carpeted. Hardly any noticeable rust showing on body but underneath is surface rusty and one spot is broken through a little behind the drivers seat but appears the floor boards are all still intact.The inside of the box has a few spots of surface rust but no holes through anywhere and fairly straight. Glass is all good. Tires are fair to good.I see tons of parts for old Rancheros on EBay but no real cars so here is a chance for you to get the real thing.
