Vehicle Detail

1967 Ford Mustang Fastback This car is a rolling shell - great for a restomod! I bought the car a few years ago to rebuild. I barely had the car home a week when I found out my wife was pregnant with our first boy, and since then, I just don't have the time for this project. I'd rather sell the car to someone who can get it back on the road than let it sit until I have the time for it. This Mustang is a rolling body. It doesn't have the original 289. I will include the 351W that I picked up for the car. The engine has all accessories - alternator, starter, PS, AC compressor, 2-bbl carb. I don't know if it runs, but it turns by hand, and there is no obvious sign of damage at the crank or under the valve covers. The engine is already in the engine bay. The transmission is a complete, C4 auto. I don't know the condition of the trans, because I was going to convert to a manual anyway. The body is in fairly good shape, considering the age, but it needs work before it can be painted. Overall, the car is straight, and needs very little metal work to get it done. Typical problem areas like the cowl, inner fender by the battery, trunk drop offs, etc. have already been repaired. I have a convertible-style inner rocker and floor pan, and torque box for the passenger side. These are included with the car. The hood and fenders are included, but they are in rough shape. Both floor pans need attention. A previous owner laid new pans on top of the old ones. The rear cross brace in the trunk (below the taillight panel) needs to be replaced, but this panel is not expensive and its easy to fix. The outer rockers need attention. They could be patched if you want. I have boxes and boxes of parts that came with the Mustang, and they will go with it, too. I don't have a detailed inventory. If you are looking for something specific, ask me and I'll find out. I know that I have multiples of some parts - tail light bezels, turn signal bezels for the hood, steering wheels, etc. I have all of the glass except the drivers side glass. I do have both vents. DISCLAIMER: This Mustang is a project! It says so in the title. It's 40+ years old. I am selling it as-is. Don't expect a concourse, trailer queen. I've done my best to let you know what it needs. I am more than happy to answer your questions, and I encourage you to take a look at it. PAYMENT: A $500 deposit is required via PayPal in 48 hours. The remainder is due 7 days from the end of the auction. I will accept PayPal, cash or cashier's check. SHIPPING: The Mustang must be picked up or shipped within 14 days of the end of the auction. Shipping is the winning bidder's responsibility. I will do my best to work with you.
