If you have a question email it to ebay@WoodsCycleCountry.com, do not call the dealership. The bike - 1980 GS1000G in beautiful blue with gold pin stripes. Just going over the bike quickly it appears to have moderate tires and lots of life left in the brake pads. The fork seals look good with no leaks. The bike has signs of use since 1980, but no significant damage or scratches. The tank is not rusted out, but has very minor surface corrosion just starting. The bike looks like it has been very well taken care of before it arrived at our dealership. The bike starts up and runs; the customer rode it in to buy his new bike from us, so it's able to cruise on the major Interstate-Highway next to our dealership. The choke cable appears to be missing, so in order to start this bike up, we had to reach under and manually choke the bike to get it started, but then it ran without any trouble. On a collector bike like this one, however, we would suggest replacing the plugs and maybe even cleaning the carb out. I've taken as many pictures as I could upload. Some of them show some damage that may be more significant than those of normal use such as: a small crack in a side cover (pictured). The sale - Since we generally do not stock collectors bikes like this one, our sales department will not have much information about this unit. As this is an enthusiast bike, we figure that anyone who is really interested in this bike will know way more about it than we do. Purchasing - A $500 non-refundable deposit (via PayPal) must be made within 24 hours of the close of the auction. The balance must be paid via PayPal, wire transfer, or certified cashier's check within 7 days of auction close. No financing is offered for this motorcycle. Please note that if you are a Texas resident then you will also be responsible for Texas tax, title, registration, and Vehicle Inventory Tax. Shipping - You as the purchaser will be 100% fully responsible (WE MAKE NO DEVIATIONS FROM THIS POLICY) for the shipping of this motorcycle. There are companies who specialize in shipping bikes (we don't) and you will need to fully coordinate with them to have the bike picked up from our dealership once your payment has cleared. We will not pack or crate the motorcycle and will in no way be responsible for any damage that may happen to the bike while it is in transit. Take your time, do your research, and choose a highly rated and insured shipper. If you are local, you are welcome to come and pick up the motorcycle once the funds have cleared. As this is a U.S. market motorcycle, we will only sell it to purchasers within the domestic U.S. We will not accept bids or offers from buyers who are not located in the lower 48.
