Vehicle Detail

**See below for many larger/detailed photos of the car** Thanks for looking at my listing. Up for sale is my 1995 Ford Crown Victoria (Police Interceptor Package (CVPI)). The car has been my daily driver for the last 2+ years, and has been superb. My family is in need of a larger vehicle, and we have decided to sell it. This car was purchased in 2003 from the WA State Patrol auction by my father, and then passed to me. This was a former WSP Captain's command vehicle originally, then served as a Lieutenant's vehicle (unmarked) until retired in 9/2003. All documentation/repair records from the WSP come with the car to show it's service life with that agency from day 1 to when it was retired. Being this was a command vehicle, it has no holes drilled in the exterior, which is rare on a Police Interceptor. No spotlights were mounted on the car - nor did it have a partition/cage. The interior is very nice for the age of the car. What's been done in the past month: $890 in mechanical work put into the car, including: New rear brake calipers & brake pads Resurfaced rear brake rotors New outer tie rod ends New passenger side ball joint New pitman arm Alignment Within the last 2.5 years: New driver's door glass New passenger front window regulator Front brakes/resurfaced rotors/new calipers Battery (Installed by AAA) History with the WA State Patrol (WSP) Car was placed into service on: 9/22/1995 (Sold via Empire Ford out of Spokane, WA as part of the state bid on 9/8/1995) Assigned initially to a WSP Captain Transferred to a Lieutenant on 12/10/2001 Unmarked car - NO HOLES on exterior WSP Asset #: 16-5-071 Served in District 1 (Tacoma) for service life Retired in 2003 with approximately 108,000 miles Car has not been in an accident and drives great. Air conditioning is ICE cold. Overall, body and interior look great, but as with any used car (especially one that has seen fleet service with a police agency), there will be some minor scrapes, 3 small holes from microphone clips on the interior/dash facia, scratches and other dings consistent with fleet use. Please see photos below for details. This is NOT a new car (obviously) - if you are looking for a perfect/new car - you need to buy new! What needs attention: I will list what I know is defective with the car over the years we have owned it. I would rather show you everything (that I know is wrong) than claim a 100% perfect vehicle. Passenger rear window sometimes will not go down (likely a short in the switch). One of the marker lights on the rear passenger side is out (socket has a broken tab for one of the light connectors) Brake light works fine on that socket, just not the marker light Loose piece of black plastic trunk trim that covers the carpet where the trunk latches (purely cosmetic) - Trunk works fine I have noticed a little condensation in the corner marker light/lens on the driver side - only noticable after a car wash for a few hours Cigarette lighter in pull out cup holder/console worked up until last year, but now it doesn't Police package/Oil cooler has a very small leak in it. My Ford dealer said not to worry about it given the $$ to fix. I sometimes need to put a half quart of oil in about every 6-8 weeks or so. AM/FM/Cassette Radio on/off button will not stay off (I just turn down the volume when not in use) Driver side power mirror does not move R to L with switch, but does go up and down (can be adjusted manually) Vehicle Features: Power Windows Power Door Locks 6 Way Power Driver Seat Cruise Control Power Steering Anti-Lock Brakes Air Conditioning Rear Defroster AM/FM/Cassette Radio Power Mirrors 4.6L Overhead Cam V-8 Engine 4 Speed automatic overdrive transmission Carpeted Floor (Most police interceptors have rubber flooring) Brand NEW spare tire (has never been used) - Goodyear RSA mounted on full-size wheel 140 MPH certified police speedometer Dual Airbags Tilt Steering Wheel Remote Trunk Release Cloth Interior (Including Back Seat) Additional Details/Terms Please take a moment to carefully examine the photographs within this ad. As stated above, this car saw 8 years of active fleet use. While it's in good condition for it's age, it's not in "perfect" or "mint" condition. If you have any questions, I will be happy to answer them prior to the auction close through the "Ask Seller a Question" function well before the auction close. Due to zero feedback bidders who refuse to comply with auction terms, if you have zero feedback, you will need to contact me prior to bidding to confirm you know the rules of EBay, your intent to bid, and complete the transaction per EBay rules. Zero feedback bidders who fail to contact me in advance of bidding are subject to having their bids cancelled. Buyers who default on payment will be reported to EBay - so please bid only if you are are serious about the car. I will not disclose the reserve price during the auction. I have the car for sale locally, and reserve the right to cancel this auction early if needed. The car is sold as-is, where-is - no warranty is expressed or implied. A deposit of $500 will be required through PayPal within 48 hours of the auction close, and the remainder of the payment due within 1 week of auction close. Transportation/shipping fees for the vehicle are the responsibility of the buyer. I am located close to the Lakewood, WA DAS shipping terminal, and can assist with dropping the car off there as needed. I am located about 25 miles South of Sea-Tac (SEA) International Airport - if you are interested in flying in and driving out. Happy bidding!
