1976 CJ7 4X4 with a quadratrac transfer case with high and low range. I spent 3 years building this jeep, invested over $16 grand and countless hours. Complete frame off restoration, frame painted with 2 coats PRO15. The jeep is painted John Deere yellow with Gun Metal Grey trim. Paint is excellent and just over a year old.(There are a few small paint cracks) Ready to go another 35 years. This jeep was designed for reliability. It has power steering and manual brakes. Manual brakes work excellent, no need to upgrade to power they work so well. The engine sound very solid and does not smoke. Starts perfectly, idles nicely and sounds great with the Flowmaster 40! Every nut and bolt was removed and replaced with new Grade 8 hardware, Antisieze was put on every thread for years of service. I had it tagged as historic, for insurance purposes, everything is working for inspection, wipers, spray, signals, brakes etc. The top is dark gray and the doors are black. CD with 100’s of pictures of the frame off build that I will include Jeep starts easily, just touch the key and it fires up, Idles perfectly and runs well. Engine is tight, no smoke. The jeep has never been off road, I drove it last summer with the family, it has maybe 500 miles since restoration. It is garage kept and very nice. As you can see the original dash am radio cut-out is still intact. I have never seen this before. I left it there and would put the stereo in the Tuffy center consol. There is a slot specifically for it.
