I'm the fourth owner. Inspected in Virginia until Nov 2011. This is a "very original" 635. Original BMW cassette radio. Upgraded ECU chip - 10% performance increase. 14 Michelin tires on stock wheels. No dash cracks. Paint is original but looks great. Body - Minimal rust around rear arches has been treated - expected scratches - some small dings on the roof, hood and truck from fallen acorns. Needs A/C recharged. Engaging reverse, 1st and 2nd gear occasionally grinds (need shaft bearings?) * New Clutch kit, disc, bearings were installed in July 2009. Since I purchased it in June 2009, I've replaced the following with new parts: * Clutch kit, disc, bearings ($1,092) Front Rotors and Pads ($549) Interstate Battery ($153) Starter, Cables, Wiring, etc (($1,301) Hood and Trunk Roundels ($87) Transmission fluid flushed ($110) Coco Mats ($145) Items not perfect but tolerable of a 25 year old car: The trunk lid won't stay open - left spring needs to be replaced. Slight rust around rear wheels has been treated with POR-15. The odometer stopped in Oct (I've kept a detailed log of how much gas I've purchased since then - less than 1,000 miles). The high-beam lights will intermittently pop-on when driving with the lights on (I've place a quarter to keep the lights on low beam). The front part of the drivers seat slides sometimes but 95% of the time, it stays where I place it. Partial tool kit. I'm selling as I don't have space for it in my garage or driveway.
