1972 AMC Javelin AMX. Matching numbers P code 360 4Bbl, Auto, Factory Go Package, Ram Air cowl induction, Tic-Tac gauges, twin grip with 15” Rally wheels and nice tires. Car drives well and has been in dry storage for over 4 years. Low original mileage. Ram air fiberglass cowl induction hood, air flapper and AMX grill is in very good condition. Car is well optioned with A/C, tilt wheel and light group. A/C will need charging and testing. Originally had a white vinyl canopy roof but but was removed and now painted white. New rear shocks, front brake pads, turned rotors, radiator cap, gas tank cap, air filter, fuel pump, wiper blades, air flapper vacuum actuator, battery. Only 3220 AMX’s were produced in 1972 and much fewer had the Go-Pack and fresh air cowl induction like this car. Frame and trunk is in great shape. Paint is about 6 years old but the quality in my opinion is only about a 6.5 on a 10 scale. Floor pans have some rust and should be repaired; the rest of the underside is clean and solid. Engine starts right up-no unusual noises. I believe there may be a collapsed lifter plunger from non use as one exhaust valve isn't opening. I’m not positive! It also has a Holley double pumper carburetor. The plastic shifter handle is broken as most are from age, & radio isn’t connected. Some rust at very bottom of dog leg on front passenger fender behind chrome rocker panel. This vehicle is to be sold and shipped within the USA only and paid by a certified US bank check.
