Up for sale is my 1990 Dodge W-250 Cummins Diesel 4 x4. This is probably one of the nicer remaining examples and has been well - cared for during it's life time. This truck is probably the most reliable and bullet proof of the first generation Dodges. It is a non - intercooled Cummins with a torque flite 727. Not TPS sensors, overdrives or big dollar Getrag parts to mess with. It gets an honest 18 - 20 MPG. Exterior No rust ever. This truck is from the Pacific Northwest and has never seen road salt. The sheet metal is clean underneath also. When I bought this truck the clearcoat was peeling on the hood and some of the silver was flaking. I sent it to the body shop where all chrome, chrome trim emblems, handles, bumpers, grill, door gaskets etc. were removed. Truck was taken down to bare metal with the exception of the lower black paint. Truck was then repainted factory colors in Dupont basecoat/clearcoat. The only things that remained on the truck were the windshield and back window. The lower black portion remained factory paint and aside from rock chips it is excellent condition. There are no runs, dings or dents and I would rate the overall paint an 8 out of 10 . The inside of the bed is excellent condition and has a high quality spray-in liner. All factory chrome is excellent with some pitting on the 6 after market bed tie - downs. The tailgate is in great shape. Its not deformed or seperating at the spotwelds like most. It shuts tight and square. Interior The inside of this truck is exceptional. The seat is in great condition and is still firm. The dash has no cracks. The instrument cluster is nice. The door panels and paint on the interior of the doors is in excellent shape. The carpet is nice, the headliner is intact, but is pulling away in spots. All gauges work including the speedometer, odometer and trip odometer. The wait-to-start, ABS, and water-in-fuel lights all work. The dome light doesn't come on, but all others come on. Power windows and cruise work, power locks work on all pass. door only. There are some small rock chips in the windshield, but no cracks. Mechanical In the last 2,000 miles I installed the following: New tires, wheels, battery, front shocks, new oil & filter, air filter, drained and replaced rear diff fluid. This truck can sit for weeks in one place and it doesn't leave any spots. It starts instantly on the first crank, drives straight down the road and has no brake pull. It has a good brake pedal. There are no clunks or clangs going from drive to reverse or reverse to drive. The drive train is exceptionally tight and all features of the four wheel drive system work correctly. The engine is clean and dry top & bottom and doesn't leak or smoke. The transmission goes into gear immediately hot or cold and shifts correctly. The air conditioning does not blow cold. There is no refrigerant in it and I don't know why. It could be simple, but don't assume that it is. This truck has Firestone air bags in the rear and at one time had fifth wheel rails in it. The oil pressure, temp, ammeter gauges all indicate normal functions. I have a spare tire/wheel that goes with the truck. All fluid levels have been checked and/or replaced. General It is nearly impossible to find a first generation Dodge in this condition. I am out of indoor storage, so I've decided to sell it. There is a reasonable reserve which I won't reveal. It is not for sale elsewhere. If you don't have the cash on hand to pay for it DON'T BID. NO TRADES. No zero score bidders. I have a clean title in hand and want to be paid in full by certified bank check sent overnight within 4 days of this auction ending. The truck and title are yours after the check clears your bank and mine. I will assist your shipper in loading or you can come get it yourself.
