This is a 1965 Ford Mustang with a 289 engine, automatic transmission. I purchased this car on Ebay about two or three years ago. It had a 260 v8 in it at the time, i took that motor out and replaced it with a newly rebuilt 289 which now has less than 1000 miles. This car is a driver not a numbers car. It also has new rails at the back where they often rust out,. sterio am/fm with four speakers and mustang decal on the radio (dash is not cut). New tires, new craiger wheels, new exhaust system, rebuilt transmission, chrome alternator, oil pan, valve tap covers, air breather, and as you can see from the pics chrome shock brackets and lining along the sides and front of the engine compartment. Drives good and stearing is tight. I would say its an average mustang considering its a 46 year old car. That was the good now here is the bad that i know of. In some of the pics you will see chips and a few bubbles in the paint but not many, if it sets in the shop without moving for a month of two it will leak out a spot of transmission fluid and a spot of motor oil no larger than a pop can around but it does leak a little oil. It has a spot of chiped pain on the dash by the radio about the size of a pack of smokes that someone tried to touch up with white paint but its clearly visible. I am setting a reserve but its reasonable since i do want to sell this car. I like to fix them up, drive them around a little but then get bored with them and want a new project is the main reason I am selling. Terms of the sale are, if you meet the reserve and win the auction, I will want a certified or cashiers check for the amount mailed to me, when I get that and it clears I will mail the title to the address you give to me. I am not responsible for any delivery or costs of delivery but will be available to help load the car if you use a hauling company.
