'74 Laguna S3-454 BIG BLOCK CAR-'REAL DEAL'! I bought this car back in '09 after it had previously sat for 19 years.And the same day that it was shipped in to me we got it up and running and it ran pretty darn good too! But the best part was taking it for a spin that first time.I was surprised about just how good it drove[very smooth]and how FAST it was.We cleaned out tank,cleaned out carb,added fresh gas,changed oil,added a new battery and a new starter and had it going. The car had typical rust from it previously having a vinyl top[typical vinyl top deal].This car came out of San Antonio Tx.where I'm told it had been its whole life.It had been stored in a barn there the whole 19 years of sitting.BUT for the most part it was/is a super solid Tx.car! I had my body guy do metal work to top[pd.him a thousand bucks in fact]to metal it all in but now after a year and a half the body work/paint has some blemishes on lower top area on both sides.Maybe its the filler put on top of parts metaled in-? And then some dummy scratched my left door/left fender with a lawn mower while mowing.SO,these issues/picks will need to be addressed to have it looking all it can be.Overall though the paint still looks good.I pd.extra $ to have extra clear put on it and this part looks AWESOME! It will need all 4 bumper pad moldings[no big deal though],there is a little rust spot on rear bumper that isn't bad,it will need carb.rebuilt due to it running a little rich and because it spits back a little bit whenever it's cold[again we just cleaned it out some before],it will need a couple of interior panels replaced,it will need some of its interior panels redyed,and it will need ac fan switch or blower mtr.replaced because nothing is blowing out[and ac recharged of course]BUT AC IS ALL THERE,EVEYTHING IS ALL HOOKED UP WHICH IS AWESOME! Car runs/drives GREAT except for carb.issue.It has a lowered gear rear end so I don't recommend driving it over 70 mph out on interstate.I had it stored for awhile an hour away from me last year and drove it out there and back and it did just fine. I recently put the chrome rally wheels on it which look very sharp but 2 are in need of new tires[however it still runs/drives good].And there is an after market tach laying on console which I don't like that I planned on disconnecting and then hooking back up its factor tach. Besides all that I've just stated I can't think of anything else to say about the car except that I can't stress how much fun it is to drive this baby! This poor car keeps getting put on the back burner and kind of forgot about! As u can c in last pic,it's @ my body guys house and has been for a couple of months,I wanted him to redye some of its interior but I keep getting him on other projects[he just finished doing some body work on a '74 Grand Am which is on its way to paint shop tomorrow and now I have him on an '80 GMC pick up that I'm trying to get to paint shop asap.But,I will eventually will get back on it and get a lot more for it if not sold here. I'd like 2 C MORE COLLECTOR CAR/MUSCLE CAR[ESPICALLY WITH A BIG BLOCK MTR.] FOR THE BUCK,I WOULD LOVE TO SEE IT! PLEASE DO NOT BID[OR HIT BUY IT NOW] IF U R NOT SERIOUS,IF U DON'T HAVE THE $ TO PAY FOR IT,OR IF U CAN'T RESPECT MY PAYMENT TERMS! NO RESERVE AUCTION!
