1978 GMC Short Box truck- I acquired and don't need. 350-350 trans runs good. I got a set of 3 280z's real cheap also make offer! I want them gone!- just trying to clean up yard tired of the junk. Once again this is running project truck/ Or good junker work truck. there is 900 dollars just in the rebuilt tranny. The guy who built the tranny is reputable in our town and has built transmissions for 2 of my camaros- 900 is my "friend" price I'm positive the last owner of truck paid more. As for rust the cab needs rockers cab corners and edge of floors near door. Cab is salvageable when you replace rockers edges of floor are fixable SIMPLE. If you are an amateur at body work and scared of a little work then I suggest you find a cab. which I myself would just fix was there. Front fenders where replaced-NOT NEW- drv front needs a small patch and .
