I am selling my 1988 Mercedes Benz 300CE. I bought the car almost a year ago and I paid $4000. Since then I have replaced the tires, brake pads, shocks/struts (front & rear), plug wires, plugs, battery, and alternator. I had intended to take this car to graduate school with me and for it to be the car that I used during my time there, but due to unfortunate circumstances, I am being forced to sell my car. I was recently robbed of my savings that I had intended to use for moving to my new school and I have been having issues with the car of which I am unable to repair whatever is wrong with the car due that those circumstances. I realize that I will not be able to get my money that I have invested in the car (about $7000) or the amount that was stolen from me ($3000), but I am hopeful that someone will take this car and give her the TLC that she deserves and in turn help me restore some of the money that I have in the car in hopes of using that money for my moving expenses. My reserve is $2000, of which I believe to be very reasonable considering the condition of the vehicle, but the car does need some work. The car seems to have a mind of its own, running great sometimes and not so great at others, but the car is driveable and most of the options are in working order. I have taken a number of photos to describe the condition and will be happy to send anyone these photos but could not afford to add them to the ebay page.
