2001 Ford E 250 Cargo Van - 6 Cyl - Automatic - AC - 120,600 Miles This truck is going to the highest bidder. No Reserve! No Buy It Now!! No Trades!!! 4 New Tires New brakes, rotors and calipers and a new radiator. Motor is strong - no leaks, smoking or noises. The transmission, however, is different story. Forward gears are fine. Reverse is weak after the truck is warm. When hot, it's almost non-existant. I bought this truck end of February 2011 with the intend to fix it and use it for my business but being too busy and because it seems that the tran need to be replaced I decided instead to buy another truck. About the transmission, I was told that it was a fluid pressure on the reverse gear band problem and that the best bet would be to replace the transmission (used tran = $1.000 with labor. New tran = $2.500) I drove the truck from Long Island back to the Bronx and engine runs good, suspension is OK. Let my loss be your gain! Perfect buy for a Do-it-yourself mechanic Drive it home! The truck passed NY State Inspection and has all documentations Body has a small dent near the lower driver side door, and the driver side rear door has a sheet metal panel instead of glass (looks like a professional installation).
