Relisting this with a much lower reerve and engine picture!! This auction is for a 1971 Mustang MACH 1 Fastback with just over 90k miles showing on the odometer. This Mach 1 is in good used running condition. Some of this Mach 1's options are power steering, manual drum brakes, 9 inch rear-end, AM FM radio, deluxe seat belts, and rear spoiler. It has a 351 Cleveland 4 barrel, FMX auto, 4:11 positive traction rear. The data plate decodes as follows: Body 63R: Fastback Mach 1, Color D: Grabber Yellow, Trim 5A: Black knitted vinyl, Trans X: FMX automatic, DSO 28: Louisville. The 351 Cleveland runs strong with a Holley 800 CFM four barrel, mated to an Edelbrock aluminum intake. It has a Mallory super coil and Mallory Unilite distributor. The engine holds 15-20 pounds oil pressure at idle and has 35-40 pounds at road speed. The car is very quick. This is a decent used car to be 40 years old and would make a good restoration project. THIS ITEM IS BEING SOLD WITH A VERY LOW STARTING BID WITH A VERY REASONABLE RESERVE. I purchased this Mach 1 last year with the intention of restoring it but I lost my storage for it and I need to sell it. Prior to my ownership the car was stored indoors for the last 15 years and never driven. I have replaced the brake shoes, brake hardware and the brake wheel cylinders in order to make it drivable. The car has some rust in the rear floors, and lower rear quarters and It does have some filler around the rear quarters. It has one re-paint in the original color, Grabber Yellow. The interior is very nice for its age and just needs a good cleaning. The dash pad, carpet, seats, headliner are all very nice. The driver’s seat has one small rip in the bolster from getting in and out of the car. The car still has the original seat belts. The center console gauges have been replaced with mechanical ones.
