Vehicle Detail

As seen on the TV show PAWN STARS - 1962 Cadillac Fleetwood Series 75 Limousine. It is powered by the original numbers matching Cadillac 390 V-8 engine and a new TH 400 transmission. A little history on this particular car; a friend and I purchased the car about a year and a half ago. The car has been in North Las Vegas for the past decade or so and before that Southern California. There under a thousand of these cars produced in 1962 with a sticker price of around $9800. The transmission was replaced for reasons unknown to me but I do have the original transmission for the car. The transmission leaks but shifts like new. The odometer reads a little over 32,000 miles however shortly after the car got registered again the speedometer and odometer stopped working. The car is in great shape for its age. All doors and panels opens and close with ease (probably because they have never been off the car), even the power windows still work! This is a great Rat Rod project. You can get an idea of what you're looking at by watching the Pawn Stars episode with the car in it. I want to point out that the figure quoted in the show would be for a full restoration. I would also like to point out the comment in the video made about poor body work shouldn't throw you off since car probably has never had any body work done to it except a flat black paint job! The rust spots shown in the clip and the pictures are the worst of whats on the car. In the video the engine makes a ticking/ tapping noise. The owner of the customs shop thought it might be a lifter tap. Recently it was brought to my attention that these car were meant to run on leaded gasoline. The engine does not make this noise if you use a lead substitute additive which you can buy from most parts stores and probably even Wal Mart. Serious inquiries only. Do not bid on/ buy this car unless you plan to actually buy it. The past three times I have "sold" this car the buyer for one reason or another (no money, decided not to buy it, etc...) decided they couldn't or wouldn't buy it. The car sold in "as is" condition. Please email me with questions, comments or concerns before bidding. Here is a link to the Pawn Stars episode. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UPgnehkUC8o
