Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 1983 GMC Sonoma,(S-10 with different badges).WITH AN OPEN DECK CAR TRAILER to haul it! This is now a complete starting package setup to go racing! This former low 11 second truck is being sold as a ROLLER only.Race motor,trans,and race rear have been removed for a new toy.The rear now in the truck is a mid-'60's Chevelle 10 bolt open 3.08,converted to leaf spring mounting.The buyer will probably want to go through the rear and add stiffer gears and a posi,or spool.The hard work of making it fit,and getting the pinion angle right ,and fitting the Lakewood slapper bars has been done for you.The last owner of the rear even put a shiny chrome cover,and long wheel studs in it to keep tech happy.The truck has a 10 point S&W Racecars Cage. This truck IS NOT A SHOW CAR....The paint is made to look great from the stands.Paint is acrylic enamel with hardener, done in a backyard garage.Inside the bed, the wheelwells have dings they earned in thier lifetime.I just removed all the old lettering and decals,prepped the body,and shot it.Truck started life as a work truck,and has been garage-kept since 2002.
