1966 Impala Super Sport Mid '70 454 +. 30 12:5 to1 compression. Grant 850 Demon carb - built by Opel Engineering Streamwood, Il. Dyno sheet included. 500 h.p./460 ft.lbs. Built 400 trans. 12 bolt rear w/ 373. This is a true SS. Rock solid, no rust, or filler. Body is super straight, and paint is a 9 out of 10. This Impala was stripped and painted approx. 8 yrs ago. There are a couple of small nicks in the paint. Chrome/ stainless are all in excellent cond. Trunk, and floors are solid. The interior is in beautiful cond. Gauge package works. Tilt/ tele steering wheel, and factory tach. Front disc brake conversion. Also included in this auction, is a date correct 942 427/425 block. It has been mag'd and pressure tested. I65 date code, and stamping on pad from the '66 Biscayne it was removed from. Factory 7000 tach. Rear sway bar set up, 4 spd. console ( in excellent cond) and all the 4 spd. linkage, shifter, pedals etc to convert to a 4 spd. I can obtain a '66 M 21 that can be negotiated. Correct radiator, shroud, engine brackets, and pulleys. Valve covers-- Pretty much everything needed to convert this to a correct 427/425 4 spd. is included in the auction. This Impala is a blast to show, and drive. Has won trophies, and gets alot of attention. Either drive it as is, or convert it to a 425 car.
