Up for auction is a 1969 Lincoln continental mark 3 in excellent condition. This is a barn find. I recently purchased this car from it's original owner. This car has been sitting since 1971 and has 28k on the clock that is believed to be actual. I bought the car and changed the oil and cleaned the points and it fired right up, and ran smooth as silk for a few minuets then started smoking. so I pulled the engine and tore it down to find a cracked block. I have too many projects at the time and have no time to fix this one up. This car is loaded with power everything and almost everything works. the only things that don't work is the passenger side rear window does not open and the high beam bulbs need to be replaced, I have already replaced the low beams. The list of thins that do work are as follows. cruise control, anti lock brakes, windshield wipers, power locks, power windows except passenger rear, power seats, power antenna, all gauges, power trunk popper, rear defrost, auto dimming head lights, retractable headlights, and much more. The engine is a 460 4 barrel V8 and all of the engine components are good except for the block and one piston. The interior is flawless. the exterior has 2 small surface rust spots which are pictured. all of the chrome is intact and in good shape including the bumpers. The vinyl top is flawless. The underside of the car is rust free as well. tires are original bias plies with factory spare and jack. this car is sweet and I would love to keep it but I have too much on my plate right now and this needs to go. Excluding time spent I have over 1500 dollars into this Lincoln. I will set the reserve price at 1000. I reserve the right to end the auction early do to listing the car locally for sale.
