This car was driven to Ohio from Florida 17 years ago and parked. I purchased it 2 years ago and started the restoration. This car has had an extensive factory fashioned rotisserie restoration with 28yrs of Mustang experience. It has all the features that make it a real GT, including but not limited to, the larger diameter sway bar, the reinforced rear under seat floor for the dual exhaust, the deleted rocker and quarter moldings, the “A” code 289 4v engine, correct steering box code HCC-AX 5K25B, and fog lights. Mechanical: rebuilt 289 4v, rebuilt 4 speed toploader manual transmission, new clutch, new speedometer cable and gear, rebuilt original 4 barrel carburetor, new water pump, new starter and solenoid, new alternator, new radiator, new heater core, all new hoses, new coil, new fuel pump, all new sensors, all new ignition parts, new factory dual exhaust, new universal joints new windshield washer pump and related parts. Chassis: rebuilt front brake calipers with new pistons and seals, new front rotors, new front bearings and seals, new master cylinder, all new brake lines, new rear brake drums, wheel cylinders, shoes, and hardware, new front and rear springs, new front shocks, new rear air shocks, new factory 1966 rally wheels with BF Goodrich TA tires, new tie rods, new drag link, new upper and lower control arms, new strut rod bushings, new fuel lines, new gas tank and sending unit. Trim: 97% new exterior chrome, all new parchment interior, new instrument cluster, new hydraulic pump, motor, and lines for the power top, new white top with plastic window, refurbished top frame, new windshield. Electrical: All the wiring harnesses have been replaced with the exception of the under dash GT original harness that has the fog light connections which was gone over and rewrapped, all new switches, AM/FM stereo fit to the dash with no modifications Paint: DuPont ChromaBase Basecoat, Clear Coat System.
