I am the second owner, having purchased this motorcycle last September from my brother-in-law. Let me be blunt – cruiser style motorcycles are not truly to my taste; I bought it (and he sold it) for purely family reasons. Without intruding on his privacy, let me just say that he is now a single father of two small children, and because of that change of status has changed his priorities. This motorcycle has less than four thousand miles on it. It has never felt rain, and has been kept in a climate-controlled garage. It looks as if it just came out of the showroom, frankly – there isn’t a dent, ding, or scratch anywhere on it. The paint is flawless and the chrome is perfect, in fact perhaps a little TOO perfect. I keep getting glimpses of myself reflected in the chrome, and it keeps reminding me what a short, fat, and ugly middle-aged guy I am. It already has a windscreen, Cobra footboards, a backrest, and Saddleman leather saddlebags. I would be tempted to keep it, but I have two other motorcycles, and I know that I wouldn’t ride this one enough to either justify it, or to keep it from deteriorating (as motorcycles do that aren’t ridden). There is no reserve on this auction, and someone is going to win a motorcycle that is as close to new as you’ll find. Please, would the winning bidder make a $100.00 non-refundable deposit to PayPal within twenty-four hours of the auction’s close, and the balance by either cashier’s check (which MUST clear before pickup), or cash. I can deliver the motorcycle by trailer, or meet the winner at a mutually agreed upon location, for one dollar per mile. I have a clear Kentucky title in my name in hand.
