Vehicle Detail

1958 Buick Riviera SUPER Rat Rod or Restore One of Harley Earl's later designs, part of America's Heritage.....definitely something different, definitely cool. Half a city block long. The Buick Super has a 127.5 wheelbase and is 20 feet long overall! It is like driving your living room down the street. The engine bay will easily accommodate a big block engine and automatic transmission THERE IS NO ENGINE OR TRANSMISSION included in this auction. I was planning on installing a Buick 455 with a 400 turbo-hydramatic from a 1973 Buick Riviera that I have. I will sell the entire 73 Buick with the purchase of the 1958 Buick for an additional $350.00. If you want the parts car remember you will be responsible for picking up 2 cars! After searching, I have managed to assemble a complete set of trim for this car with the exception of the small strip behind the passenger rear tire and chrome strip that goes down the center of the hood. The trim is stainless steel so any pieces that are not perfect can be repaired and repolished to look like brand new. (That's the beauty of stainless steel trim) All trim has been removed from the car but has been carefully stored to protect it from damage or loss. The time consuming and labor intense job of removing chrome off one of the most chromed automobile to come out of The 50’s is done and ready for a correct done paint job. One of the best features of this car is that it is rust free. The floors are solid. The 4 doors have never been off. The fit and operate beautifully, shutting firmly and flush Front and rear windshield glass is good, side window glass will need to be replaced (cracked) but the frames are nice and it is flat glass Dash is complete The original hubcaps are with the car The front and back seats are nice, you could go RAT ROD and throw on a Mexico blanket, or reupholster the seats. The frames and springs are very good. Over all this is a great very straight car This car was built in Dallas Texas then spent most of its years in New Mexico before coming back to Texas. I have a clear TEXAS TITLE in my name. The Last Picture is BEFORE the work started PLEASE READ and REMEMBER YOUR BID IS YOUR CONTRACT. I REQUIRE A NON REFUNDIBLE DEPOSIT OF $300 WITHIN 24 HOURS OF THE AUCTION CLOSE AND THE BALANCE OF THE FINAL AUCTION PRICE WITHIN 7 DAYS OF THE AUCTION CLOSE. The NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of $300.00 will be credited toward the final auction price. Buyer will be reasonable for transport. The Buick rolls nicely. If you want the 1973 Buick Riviera then add another $350. It DOES NOT roll, but has easy access for a roll off bed or trailer to winch up. If you have questions or want more pictures of any specific area of the car just ask. I will respond to emails quickly. Please have your money ready before you bid so you don’t waste my time and yours.
