You are looking at a 1979 F250 2WD Camper Special. The body is in great shape and has only surface rust in small areas. I sanded the worst surface rust down to the bare metal, That was the bottom of both doors. This is from driving on the gravel roads. There is surface rust in the floorboards. I have some POR15 I will cover it in before the auction ends. the previous owner bought the truck from the original owner a few years back. The original owner use to have a cab over camper and pulled a fishing boat behind it and that was all it was really used for. The next owner used it for hauling brush around his town. Then I bought it and used it for driving to work. This truck is VERY reliable. It has the 400 V-8 with a C-6 automatic and 3:73 gears.The engine does not use any oil or burn any oil or leak any oil. the transmission shifts as it should with no trouble. It is set up to pull a trailer with sway bars and trailer brake control. The door panels are broke, that is the way I bought it, However I will install new door panels and new carpet if the buy it now is used. The seat has some wear. The front tires are about 85% and the rears are about 65-70%. the truck needs a muffler. the heat works good and the A/C worked but needs recharged. all the lights work, turn signals work and it has tilt steering. This truck is turn key and ready to go. I would drive it anywhere in the good ole USA. The body on the truck is solid and it does have some small dings. The dual tanks work but the front sending unit does not work. I have replaced the vacum hoses, I put new plugs,plug wires, distributor cap and rotor, new windshield washer motor and new wiper blades. email with any questions and if you need photos. On Apr-12-11 at 09:38:20 PDT, seller added the following information: I have had lots of emails asking what shape the box is in, it is in good shape with no rust holes or big dents. The camper that was on it was removed about 2 years ago after the first owner past away then the truck was used to haul brush to the dump by the second owner. It does have a rubber truck bed mat. The tailgate is in good condition and opens and closes as it should.
