1947 Ford One Ton Flathead V8 Manual Stake Bed Tonner. Original Condition Truck with Factory Stake Bed, Body, Interior. This 47 was brought out to the Seattle Area from Illinois years ago. It has since been undercover and sitting since 2003. In 2003 work was completed with Reciepts Showing Over $3,000 in work at a Seattle Automotive Shop. This work includes: Complete Front to Rear Replacement Factory Wiring Harness and Regulator. Radiator Recored & Rebuilt, R & R Fan and Bearings, Installed New Hoses, Thermostats, Belts and Coolant Clamps, Rebuilt Wiper Motor, and much more... The Truck is Very Solid and Stock Condition. It needs to be Cleaned and Detailed. The Truck is in driving condition, but isn't perfect. The Engine Sounds Nice and Tight, No Smoke or Blowby. The Clutch, Brakes and Steering Feel Great. The Truck Shifts Perfect. The engine needs a tune-up-, points, plugs etc... due to sitting so long. Brakes are newer and in excellent condition. New Front Brake Hoses, New Brake Lines. Hydraulic System Gone Through. Generator Rebuilt. New Regulator. Water Pump Rebuilt. New Belts. The Gas Tank is located under the bench seat, and is in great shape. The floors are solid and original. The Truck is missing the heater. The Glove Box insert is there, but not in great shape. All of the Glass is Original and has the Ford Stamp on the glass. The Drivers Window is the only glass that is not perfect. It has a small bullet hole from the inside going out? There has been previous repair done on the bottoms of the doors with a piece of fiberglass cloth and resin, and painted. The doors are very solid and open and close nicely. The tumbler will have to be keyed as the keys were lost. however it is a Push Button Start! The Stake Bed is completely Original with the exception of two pieces of hardware right behind the cab on the top corners. There are pictures so you can look at the top and underneath the wood flatbed. There are Two Original Hubcaps on the front Goodyear 700-17 6 Ply Tires. There are Atlas Truck Coach Weathergard 7.50-17 8 Ply's on the Rear, 5 Lug. The Wheels are split Rims Front and Back. The Original Jack has the Crank Handle, Lug Wrench, and Split Rim Tool. We have a Washington State Title with a Vin Assigned, and a 47 WA Plate. We also have the Illinois Vehicle identification Card, and Antique Plates from State of Illinois. The Serial Number is CLOS.C-14764, this is from the Tag on the Firewall.
