Volvo 240 GL Wagon 4cylinder 5 speed , Blue leather Interior Looks good except for drivers seat and passenger seats have minor seem ripps not all the way through .The rest of the interior is clean blue non smoking . The headliner looks great . I bought the car about a year ago It was in good shape but the people who owned it before me let the oil cap leak which leaked into the alternator and onto the engine mount causing them damage. I replaced Both Engine mounts put a new alternator in it plus a new oil cap , sway bar pin . I also replaced the valve cover gasket . The car leaks nothing now . I replaced the plugs and wires as well . Has a semi new interstate Battery in it . Body has some dings but it is straight and this car drives and shifts smooth no crashes .unless one pops up on the carfax lol . It also has a stencilled Indian on the back tailgate from the previos owner ?. Has 80% good michellin tires on it . The bad about it is the drivers window is off track , The exhaust has a rattle in it something loose probably from the engine mount being loose . The exhaust is pretty new both mufflers and pipes in good shape . The Tag light does not work I put new bulbs in it but it still doesnt work . Has a new inline fuel pump and filter and the blower fan is loud sometimes. Cruise control is not working I havent had a chance to look at it but I saw the vaccum lines were off power lights up inside for cruise. The shifter knob is cracked rubber and you will need a new one . The plastic storage on the doors are cracked . The top of the dash is cracked but it is a great dash . The milage is stuck at like 222000 but I was told the engine was rebuilt in 1997 but have no proof . The car runs Great and I have kept up the oil changes the brakes will need pads soon .car has a clear TN title BUT>.>>> the print seller name is filled out with my wifes name but she never signed it or trasferred it to herself . I have the bill of sale selling it to her and the Title signed by the seller not signed by the buyer (my wife) could sign it and swap it to our name but that might take 3 weeks and I am selling it now . If you know your states remedy for this I will be glad to help. Also the people I bought it from are easily contacted . I will add more pics very soon This is a rare car an easy resto or a great work horse. you may not see another 5 speed this clean for the money! it took me awhile to find one . As you can see it is in good shape for its age . Pics show the 2 dings and the one rust spot on the car that is in the hatch back . Update * drivers seat has split through as in pic . and the milage stopped at 259 . Also the car is registered until 8/11 and was recently inspected. This is a southern car no rust except that spot I believe the car was rustproofed in 88 . I have all the manuals even those stickers for the windows . I WILL REMOVE THE RESERVE BECAUSE I THINK IT WILL BE MET . BID Away dont wait for the last second . This is a five speed factory car . Has the original full size spare and jack and heated seats . I think it has nitrogen in the tires because it has green caps and the havent lost any air . tires need rotation but they are still nice about 75% Michellin . The reverse light covers are off . I am looking for them . The shift light for fuel economy light arrow does not work right. I think it is vacuum related as is the cruise control malfunction . The Speedo and the fuel gauge work fine and the temp guage is missing the wire to the sensor . I will try to get a chance to find it and hook it back up . } I have been driving this car to work and it is good on gas . This car is a five speed MANUAL TRANS again NOT 5sp auto with OD. it has goodyear wiper blades the kind that are rounded for this type of windshield. The a/c needs charging has been converted to r134 . I said the car needs brake pads but they are not chirping yet I just know it will be time soon so it is safe to drive . I found the rattle was the front heat shield got that fixed. It has electric locks and crank windows . It has a rear wiper that does not come on .
