im selling my 2001 eclipse GS 2.4L inline 4 because im just looking for a new car to work on. this car is great i had alot of fun with it. most people will think just because it the 4cyl version compared to the 6cyl that it is bad,wrong. yes the gt v6 has more power but the 4cyl's engine is stronger and the hole car is very custimizable and cann easily blow the gt away. and i have already got that started for you. (mods) for the exhaust i put 2.5in headers,has stock down pipe, 2.25in cat back with cherry bomb resonater custimized my self then i cut off fart cannon muffler in the back and put a 18in long by 4in diameter exhaust tip. and the car sounds beautiful. i had a cold air intake in the car but when i went over a bump it fell out and the piping got crushed so now it a really short-short ram intake but ill have that fixed for the next buyer.next i put new suspension springs on to stiffen up the ride and lower it. it looks good it dropped the front1.7in and 1.5 in the back. the springs i got where the tien s-tech. (they were profeshionaly installed) now for the big part i never got around to getting this turbo installed but i do have a turbo for the car. the kit comes with all the things needed intercooler, turbo, waste gate, exhaust manifold, etc. from what i resaerched the car at stock is about 150hp and with the turbo in with stock internal engine parts at 14psi the car would be around 273hp and 310trq. the turbo is a 25psi JDM turbo. on the inside of the car i have 2 10in subwoofers each 1000wat and an 800wat amp the car has an open truck so not that much power was needed. sony x-plode headunit. and after market hyper white guage cluster. the car also has after market head lights, break lights , and spoiler. ( i have stock spoiler as well) GOOD: car was inpected all the time and now too. oil was changed every 3000 miles and the engine was flushed as well yearly all windows work and locks. everything eclectric works in the car it is great. BAD: ok im gonna be completely honest on this one. there are a few scratches as you will see in the pictures no dents. the one scratch in the back is just chipped paint very very easy fix if you know what your are doing , i know cause im a body man. the one in the front was from a curb it is prolly a little smaller then the half the size of a playing card. then there are your normal wear and tear scratches just real small one fromrocks and stuff like from being on the high way. if you notice in the pics you prolly didnt see the insoection sticker no werries i have it. the reason why is in my area we had an ice storm this past winter and a tree branch fell on the car wind sheild didnt hit anything else just square on the windsheild. got it replaced have the papers for it and you wouldnt even notice it eer happened. now the werst thing about the car which i dont thinnk is that bad but may be to some people, that is the AC doesnt work, BUT! i have been told it is an easy fix because the reason why it doesnt work is that the clutch in the ac compreser is not kicking. good news is that you can just replace that one part or get a kit to fix it and it shoud work again. the last thing is that the one speaker on the driver side is alittle messed up dont know why it just sounds a little staticky. so its just little problems nothing to big except the AC but it can be fixed.
