1982 Mercedes Benz 240D An oldie, but a goodie! Sure she may have some rust and paint issues, but under the cosmetic issues is an amazingly solid car! I bought this car 2006 and had a lot of fun tooling around in it -but haven't done much with it in the past couple of years. The registration is valid. Inspection is expired. She's been sitting out back too long and now is ready for a new home and a little fun. The battery was changed today to get her running - took a few laps around the block. She needs some work but, impressively, she roared right to life! Here's the Good... It's a 5 speed manual transmission with a solid clutch. Manual sunroof operates well with no leaking. The 4 cylinder diesel engine runs like a tank. Brand new batteryPower steering works well.Power windows all work. Lights all work . The am/fm cassette radio was installed by the prior owner and is after market I have the original owner manuals for the car, as well as a slew of repair and service records. Here's the Not So Good Brakes need work/replacing2 Mufflers in the car - one is good, one muffler needs to be replacedA/C is not cold Now, folks ... this car is pushing THIRTY YEARS OLD!As such, this is an AS IS NO RETURN auto sale!I am happy to answer whatever questions I can, but am unable to guarantee or otherwise warranty this car. Please make sure to note that this car needs brakes. I drove it and the brakes need to be replaced.
