Vehicle Detail
Hello and thanks for looking at my auction! Here is a well taken care of car that I have enjoyed the 5 years I have owned her. I just took her out of storage last week and took these pictures Sunday, April 3rd. I’m truly going to miss her but it’s time to let someone else enjoy. I’ve just picked up a Defender and it was a tough decision, but something has to go. The Porsche has been my baby but really hasn’t been used very much since I’ve gotten into all different types of motorcycles! The car runs and drives excellent. Always a blast to drive with that 911 power band and the clutch and transmission work flawlessly. The brakes are awesome and the car handles beautifully. There are no leaks whatsoever from the motor. There’s not many 911’s that can say that! When I bought the car I upgraded the front seats to heated power seats. Let me tell you, with the top down and the heated seats on, it makes those cooler spring evenings very enjoyable. I’ve always kept the car covered and in a garage when not in use. I also installed an Alpine CD player which sounds great but I’d rather hear that Porsche engine with the top down as I’m driving down the road! The convertible top has a couple of issues that I photographed in two separate pictures and it has been that way for a few years now and it really never bothered me enough to change it. Also, these power top motors are always prone to failure, so I had my mechanic disconnect the system and all I do is hit the button on the dash to unhook the top and manually pull it back and put the Tourneau cover on and leave it like that mostly the whole summer. I think it looks great and it hasn’t given me any problems working it like that. Porsche air conditioning isn’t all that good when it was brand new! The AC works for a summer when charged then it goes into storage and has to be recharged again if you want AC. I haven’t gotten it charged in two summers. The tires are in great shape and I like the cup wheels instead of the stock rims. The sheepskins come with the car, I removed them to show the beautiful condition of the seats. If the winning buyer wants them put on, just let me know. If not, they will be in the trunk. The complete tool kit as well as a never used air pump which sits in the spare tire is also included with the sale! I think this is a car to be enjoyed on those beautiful spring, summer and fall days and evenings while enjoying the driving experience only a Porsche gives you! I have a very reasonable reserve that I am not willing to disclose and a very reasonable Buy it Now. This car will be sold to a happy bidder! Negative or low bidders, with under 5 transactions on ebay, please contact me first or your bid will be removed. Please review my history as I have sold some cars and motorcycles all with very positive feedback. Thanks again and good luck, Michael
