Am selling a car I said I never would. It is a restored 1971 Volvo 142. Only 1350 miles since completed. Car is either new, and or rebuilt.The car was disasembled, Including the suspension parts, rear differential as well. All of the undercarriage hard parts have been sandblasted, & refinished. The brakes are all new, including soft lines. Rear differential has been rebuilt. Engine was completely rebuilt. New fuel system as well. The suspension was completely rebuilt with New IPD springs, Sway bars, and Poly bushings. All of the steering and suspension are new. The Seats have been rebuilt, and recovered with Black Leather. The front seats are heated, switchs are mounted on the dash, One for the drivers seat, and one for the passenger seat. They are wired so they shut on and off manually, and with the ignition. Interiour floor was insulated with foil backed insulation before the new carpet was laid down. The dash is perfect. Before the body was refinished, All of the windows were removed. The windshield was replaced. All of the seals on the doors, back window, Hood, and trunk replaced with new. All of the glass that was re-used was professionally buffed before reassembling the car. The exterior lights, lenses, and light rings have been replaced with new. The new paint is the original color. New BF Goodrich tires. I Installed a new CD player, when The install was done the speakers were installed in a way where nothing was cut, and the speakers are hidden. I do not drive it in the rain. Stored in our heated garage. I know you will not find another 140 like this one. I have another one I am going to restore. I will sell to overseas buyer, I will deliver to portland oregon, or Seattle washington for shipping. If needed. For slight fee. 1-$200 dollars depending where I have to go. I would not hesitate taking this car cross country. It has a new webber conversion carb, But have the original complete SU carb set up that will go with it if you want to convert it back. I have extensive paperwork on the car. I have the original factory window sticker from when the car was new. Book, and records as well. NO B.S.R.S.
