This is a NO reserve auction for a great 1996 Mercedes SL 500 convertible roadster with a parchment colored soft top / interior and a body color matching hard top. The car also has upgraded AMG wheels that really set the car off. Being that this is a NO reserve auction you won't have to wonder if the car will sell as it WILL sell to the highest bidder at auctions end. The car was just serviced including: oil change, oil filter, new twin air filters, new spark plugs, all fluids topped off, all vacume lines checked and the car was tuned back to factory specs to ensure top performance and fuel economy. The car also just passed it's states safety and emissions inspections with no issues. The car drives great and with the 315 HP engine with 347 HP of torque it really gets up and goes! Recently installed items include: New ZR rated 245/40/18/93w tires (they look great on the AMG wheels), New hood insulation padding, New MB logo front floor mats, New high end Colgan Custom front bra (really set the car off), a New high end JVC stereo / CD player and new chrome MB logo front / rear license plate surrounds / vanity plates. The car is the rare color code #189 Black Opal so you won't see this one very often and it really stands out as seen in the photo's. The car is fully optioned and I have listed all of them below for your review. The car comes with all the books and manuals and the orginal window sticker.
