This car was purchased from the Buick dealer for his sweetheart wife. It was her daily driver until 2007. I purchased it from her in 2008. The car is in very good mechanical condition. All things work as they should. The top is a replacement and in good condition. The radio needs the CD and cassette tape heads cleaned. Recent tune up includes: crankshaft timing sensor, ECM, computer and prom, harmonic balancer, spark plug wires and plugs, belts and hoses, new battery, new air compressor, dryer, converted to 134, less than 100 miles on new tires. I would drive this car anywhere. I did all this expecting to make it my vacation driver for years. My health has changed these plans ( I am 82). The paint is in very good condition with the exception of the top of the rear fenders where the clear coat has come off in a few places. I have polished the base coat to a high gloss, making it almost invisible. (See Pictures) The Reatta is a handmade luxury sport car. Made by Buick at the Lansing Craft Center. In 1988-1989 they made the hard top only. In 1990-1991 they added the convertible. Powered by the popular 3800 V-6 it is a great driving car. It did not meet the sales quota, primarily because of the price ($37,000). There was only 2,132 of them made. They are just now beginning to become a very desirable collector, especially the convertible. Therefore, it is a good investment. It has the owner's manual and the sheet signed by the craftsman who built it, but it does not have the leather binder. The car is in much better shape than the price indicates. I seriously feel you will not find another convertible in this condition for this low of a price. You will not be disappointed in this car!
