Beautiful, clean, '78 Spitfire 1500, with only 32,687 original miles. Originally a California car that has spent its entire life in the sun belt and is 100% rust-free. Runs and drives like new. This is the perfect convertible to have to drive around on these beautiful Spring weekends. Top and seats replaced in '05, stock exhaust manifold replaced with a header in '10, new ignition in '10, new period-correct tires in '10. Passed Memphis city inspection in '10. The paint is in excellent condition, is the correct Carmine Red and appears to be original with some slight fading on the bonnet. There is one small ding on the driver side door and a small dimple on the boot lid. The chrome is all perfect except for the side views which are a bit pitted. The rubber shows no signs or wear or cracking. There is one convertible top snap missing on the passenger side. Otherwise the car is in immaculate shape considering its originality and age. Comes with receipts and service records, original convertible boot cover, radio (not connected), tonneau cover, and tool roll and an all weather car cover. I've had the car for 4 years and she's been garaged while in my possession. I'm reluctantly selling as I now have two small children and she deserves to be driven more.
