A recent family emergency forces sale! Up for auction is a 1988 Suzuki Samurai in excellent shape (Rust Free). This Sammy has tons of upgrades and is often mistaken for a Land Rover Defender. I purchased this off Ebay for $6500.00 buy it now and it already had the lift kit & the 1995 4.3 Liter Vortec Engine conversion kit installed. Below is a list of what it came with when I bought it and what I added: The following paragraph was taken off the Ebay auction by the previous seller I bought it from and a portion of the paragraph was cut off when I printed it so I'll do my best to transcribe but if you see dots thats what was cut off. 1) 1995 4.3 V6 Vortec engine conversion kit in excellent shape. 2) Automatic Transmission in Excellent Shape. 3) Transfer Case has low range gears installed and a new brass shifter bushing.... 4)35"x10.50" x15 Super Swamper Bogger Tires like new. 5) 10x15 inch rims after .....back 1" 6) Disc brakes front & back with new pads just installed. 7) Lowrange gears.....rear ends 8) New Drive Shaft Spacers 1" fron....... 3" body lift to make room for the 4.3 liter conversion kit 9) Spring lift kit 3 or 4....front 10) New 6" shac...Front Aftermarket Bumper with 9500 lb. Tabor Winch 11) Heavy Duty Radiator 12) Front water proof plastic racing seats with yellow & balck covers 13) New upholstery rear seats to match front seats 14) Custom B&M Shifter 15) After Market Sterring Wheel 16) After Market Thrust Exhaus.... 17) Large E RPM Tac with shifter light 18) Radio Shck water proof CB with antenna 19) Chrome Diamond Lining from rear tail gate 20) Black liner on inner front doors 21) Rhino lined interior so, "let it rain" 22) Cut doors so they are easily removeable like a jeeps. I bought it last August from a guy named Jody and had it shipped to Nevada from TN. for around $1200 and I still have his number if you have any questions on any of the above that he may be able to answer. I added the following: Heavy Duty Power Steering & alternator and all the below accessories were installed by a magical local mechanic for $1900. The power steering works fantastic as turning it on the roadway was difficult with the 35"s when I got it. I ordered the "Amazing" Rally Top from a guy who custom makes them in California for about $1100. The top has a double lock rear truck, tinted sliding rear window and a tinted pop open sun roof. The top portion latches down and is easily removeable for those beautiful days. The following were purchased from Rock Road Outfitters and their respective prices w/o shipping: Diamond Plate Corners-$134 Bushwacker fender flares-$324 Tuffy Lock Box-$169 Diamond Plate powder coated doors-$389 Wheel O Fortune black tire carrier-$269 Samurai rear crawler bumper with hitch-$249 Safari Snorkel-$359 (mounted but not hooked up). Yellow Optima Marine Battery-$200 New Front Tinted Windshield and rubber seal Also included are the original doors in terrific shape and professionally tinted windows, four original tires & rims, two side Samurai mirrors and mounting brackets for when you want to run doorless or half doors, two bracket to mount spot lights on the front windshield hinges & the rear removeable seat as well as the black soft top in very good condition. The ;ast few pictures are from the original auction I bought it from to show you the soft top & rear seat. If buy it now is used I will include the very difficult to find: Super Swamper TSL 34x9.50 spare tire (keep the weight down in back) purchased for $275 delivered off Ebay. I'm sure theres more so I may be adding to this narrative. The following is a few paragraphs on Page 172 out of the Suzuki XJ Book about the Suzuki & the V-6 Vortec kit. "These kits allow you to bolt a Chevrolet Vortec V-6 and a 200-4R Automatic into your vehicle. No longer do you have to put up with a lack of horsepower in your Suzuki. In fact, your Samurai will go from the back of the pack to the front with the horsepower to-weight ratio the V-6 affords." This is a DYNOMITE machine that a lot of people have never heard or seen anything like it. All the works been down for you and if this doesn't turn heads then the people must be blind.... Shipping is the buyer's responsibility but I will help however I can. As you can see by my feedback I'm held in high regard. I've bought 5-6 & sold a couple vehicles over the past few years so I do have some experience. There is no warranty but I can assure you this is a fine running vehicle & will make somebody very happy!!
