1969 Lincoln Continental Mark III 460 - V8, ALL original – well maintained, GREAT CONDITION! Here is a "classic" 1969 Lincoln Continental Mark III, 2 door coupe. Color is copper with cream leather interior. The car is completely original, top to bottom, inside and out. The original paint has been kept quite nicely but the car could use a paint job for further restoration. There are no major signs of rust anywhere under the car, the body, or hood. There is a small spot of rust on rear lower passenger quarter panel that should be an easy fix. The top is primer and prepped; ready for a new vinyl top. The body itself is in great condition; straight with little or minor dings, chips, scratches, etc.. All the doors, trunk, hardware, and hood are all aligned straight and to original specs. Visually the appearance is pretty close to clean. The car is lightly driven and enjoyed more as a cruiser. The tires are white wall tires, size P225/75/R15’s and there is a spare in the trunk. The rims are the original hub wheels for this 69’ Continental and are in great condition. All paperwork is on hand and clean title is on hand for verification. The engine is the original 460 V8 engine with automatic transmission and approx. 124K all original miles (also indicated on odometer). It’s very easy to see how well everything has been maintained under the hood. Everything is original, clean, and in great running condition. The engine runs strong and the transmission shifts smoothly. There are no fluid leaks anywhere. It has a rebuilt carburetor, new shocks, and has recently had a tune up. The interior is all original, in top form, and kept very nicely. It has the original black carpet + (3) factory original floor mats that are in excellent shape. The cream leather seats, black original dash, vinyl headliner, door panels, etc… are all in great shape as well. All functions and options including dash cluster work properly as they should. The A/C needs a compressor to work as it makes a little vibration noise at times. There is an AM/FM stock radio and has tilt wheel for steering wheel. Everything powered: brakes, seats, steering, windows, etc.. The overall condition of the interior is truly appealing. Overall, this 1969 Lincoln Continental has been maintained nicely to its original condition and is ready for a little more restoration to be a show car.
