Vehicle Detail
nearly mint 99 Subaru AWD, outback "sport" red with grey bottom. loaded, non-smoker. 3rd owner selling. just under 69K original miles. two owners before me and the second was a very close friend. the car needs nothing. it is nearly perfect, but still 12 years old. everything works as it should. timing belt and full service and entire check-up done at 63K 24-26 MPG in town and 28-31 MPG on the highway It is really hard to find a clean low mileage all wheel drive car that does not have years of abuse. please do not email me and tell me its over book. i know it is and is not very negotiable. it is extremely clean, garaged and well maintained. can store as long as needed at no charge and will help any way i can if shipping is needed. remeber, it needs nothing. only selling as i now have a new company rig. questions, feel free to give me a call or email. William 1-406-861-8388 before 9PM MST On Mar-28-11 at 07:59:48 PDT, seller added the following information: Oops!! Forgot to list the options. this little Subey has, All Wheel Drive, Cold AC, cruise, tilt, Pwr. Door Locks, Power Windows, CD player with AM=FM and Cassette and factory tinted windows. rear hatch with the Subaru floor mat in back. has never been smoked in and the ashtray has change in it. no stains, rips or wear spots on the interior at all. not even on the carpet. original floor mats etc. tires are better than 80%. everything works as it should. yes, a few very minor scratches etc as it is still 12 years old. has been maintained to the highest of standards. you could fly in and drive home with the ut-most confidence. is it perfect??, no, but an extremely clean, well kept, needs nothing auto. thanks for the questions and interest. a slight bit of wiggle room on price. On Mar-29-11 at 06:34:34 PDT, seller added the following information: Sorry to say, this will be the only reduction in price. reserve is just a few dollars under the new BIN. thanks for all the interest. its a great little car, just dont need this one any more. (due to new company rig).On Mar-29-11 at 07:52:12 PDT, seller added the following information: due to several requests, i will be getting pictures of the restored trunk lid today. i will try to up-date the listing with them or you can email me direct at manpabrd@bresnan.net and i can send them to you. again, it was restored with the Duster at the same time and is perfect. its just the original one. thanks for all the interest. the reserve is a few dollars less than the BIN. questions feel free to give me a call.On Mar-30-11 at 10:35:13 PDT, seller added the following information: sorry to have put the up-dates to my other auction on this listing, but Ebay is having trouble with the editing part of their system. i am un-able to up-date the other listing i have for the 70 Duster, so thought i would add it here in case anyone looked at this auction. i now have pics of the Dusters original stock deck lid. thanks for all the interest in my little Subey. i can find lots of these with excess of 140K miles and they are still in the 4-7K range in price. this one is nice and needs nothing, plus only 68K miles. thanks. On Mar-31-11 at 08:16:47 PDT, seller added the following information: Thanks again for the phone calls and questions about my little Subey, maybe thats IE, Subie!! oh well, it is still the same car no matter how we spell it. as for servicing, its every 2500-3000 miles or every 6 months regardless of time or miles. it really does not need anything. well, maybe a bath now as i am still driving it, and this weather s*^%^ks!!! anyway, since i have it newly advertised locally, i will let everyone know what my reserve is so you can feel safe bidding to see how close you can get for maybe a second chance offer, which will not be offered. My reserve is $7950.00 and the price is firm. sorry, i know its over book, but as i have said, i am seeing ones from 97-04, and all with excess of 140K and they are still priced $4K-$15K depending on where you are. sorry to be so firm, but it is a fantastic car, i just no longer have the need for her. but i can keep it with no regrets. thanks again and to all of you out there, God Bless, and Happy Spring???
