For sale a rare cabriolet! Alot harder to find than a roadster! This was a "hanger" find a few years ago that a 80 year old gentleman had and would tinker on it once in awhile and then passed away. I got the car running and driving and the engine was weak. I replaced it with a rebuilt that runs great and does not leave a tradional oil pudddle. Trans shifts great and drives fine. Body is very dark blue with black fenders, the one picture really makes the blue show up more than what you see in daylight. Right lower cowl has rust thru and LR in front of fender has slight rust thru that is hard to see. Inner fender area on rear shows you how solid the car is, that is paint flecking off in picture, not rust!. The top has been in the down position since I started driving it and as a result I did not have time to stretch it back into position. It did not have any holes in it but some of the stitching was deteriated. I love the patina of this car and would leave the top just as it is! Top down someone in the rumble seat, it just doesn't get much better! RR fender has some dents and a small break in the bead, all other beads are good. I really don't want to sell this car but made a commitment to buy another 39 Ford. For sale locally also. I do have the original engine that will go with the car so you can keep all numbers matching. I will miss this one! Yes the V8 wheels do look sharp don't they? Forget to mention CLEAR title.
