Vehicle Detail
Tremendous opportunity to pick-up a low-mileage classic! This is the first year of the revolutionary C4 body style and the last year of the cross-fire injection engine. I invested a lot when I took ownership. I had the car professionally tuned, just about every seal you can imagine replaced, replaced the water pump, installed a new battery, and even had the transmission professionally overhauled (have all receipts)... The result is that the car starts right up, runs strong, and there are no leaks typical of these older model Vettes... It even gets decent gas mileage (18-19 mpg) on regular unleaded gas. Run as your daily driver or, as this is such a low mileage & original example, keep it in your garage as an investment. I'm only selling because I lost my garage when we relocated from California (car was shipped not driven) and, as first time home owner, we're putting all we can into our home. I can no longer justify this car when we've got the roof to replace, new paint, new appliances to buy, etc... Only defect really worth noting was the removable roof. It needed to be replaced. These acrylic glass tops were prone to cracking and that's what happened here. Lucky for you, I just bought a new top from Astro Tops, it should be here in few days, and I'm including the new top (w/ blue smoke tinting) in this auction (FYI, old top will be returned to Astro for my core credit). The seats were next on my list of things to upgrade. They're certainly serviceable, but now showing signs of their age. The driver's seat in particular would benefit from a seat cover or replacement. Oh, and while stereo was high-end when the car was new, and still works now, it'd be more enjoyable if upgraded. Also included is the soft cover pictured (just incase you don't have a garage either). I will also include all documentation/manuals I have. GOOD LUCK!!!
