up for auction is my 1957 chevrolet 3100 stepside pickup . running driving restomod project truck that is down to the paint and body work . we built a new engine for it last year . used a seasoned 1977 454 block ,bored out +.060 ,speed pro flat top coated skirt pistons. new steel crank ,7 qt marine oil pan . New 1998 nos vortec 454 head castings with the heart shaped chambers .built with stainless hipo 2.19" intake 1.88" exhaust valves .comp cams thumper hydrolic roller cam . needle bearing cam thrust plate ,avon monster drive chain , magnum roller rockers,holley dual plane 454 aluminum intake ,edelbrock 1405 600 cfm carb. aluminum water pump . hipo ac 427 fuel pump . msd ignition , new 72 corvette 454 exhaust manifolds ,new 2 1/2" exhaust all the way back with glasspacks .new super hole shot converter .turbo 400 transmission ,new custom driveshaft .new 12 bolt posi unit with 3.73 gears all new bearing ,brakes,and lines. 6 bolt wheels all around centerline wheels new general tires 205/70/15 on front 265/70/15 on the rear. the drive train is done . this truck runs like a scalded dog and stops pretty well too. power drum brakes . power steering , new 4 core desert cooler radiator for a 57 chevy pickup with fan shroud and front fan . the interior has been pretty much restored .original dash panel and gauges all work .speedo zeroed during restoration of the gauges now clocks 5700 mi . the dash and intieror have been repainted black. modern column shift steering column ,custom steering wheel , modern sony radio / cassette . original wood bed . its a cool truck as it sets .
