Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on a 1967 Barracuda Formula S. A true Formula S car. This car is to my knowledge is matching and all original in that the motor, transmission and rear end is original to the car. The car has had a few updates. The interior is new with the exception of the headliner that needs replaced. (I have one for it that will go with the car). The 273 Commando engine has been overhauled and had hardened seats put in. The cylinders had only been bored 30 over so just new rings and bearings were put in. There is very little filler on this car, what is there is mostly around the rear wheel wells. This car was repainted a year ago but not even finish sanded. I have the remaining exterior paint to go with. The lights work but the break lights, reverse lights and turn signals do not work, could be anything from a blown fuse, burned bulb or minor wiring issue. The driver's side door armrest is missing and the radio works but is not hooked up. The frame and floor pans are fine. I rescued this care awhile back but have decided I already have to many projects going on. In truth I believe someone with average car knowledge, some free time and about $1500 can bring this classic back to carshow condition. I hate to see it go but you can't keep everything. The buyer will have to make arrangements for shipping or can pick it up locally. IF you plan on paying with paypal you WILL be charged an additional 4% for the fees they charge to me. So if you'd like to save some extra money contact me about payments options. On Mar-26-11 at 22:50:40 PDT, seller added the following information: I question has come up about this being a true Formula S.
