1994 Chevrolet K1500 Silverado 4x4 Turbo Diesel! Here is a vehicle you don't see every day. A 1/2 ton diesel 4x4 extended cab long bed truck with a Winnebago conversion package. History
This is a two or three owner vehicle that was manufactured in October of 1993 and has spent almost all its life in central and southeastern Virginia. This truck has obviously been well cared for by the previous owners. This vehicle has a clear and clean title history with no problems to report. There is one accident record on Autocheck from back in 2005. I cannot tell for sure what part of the vehicle might have been involved in the accident, but whatever it was must not have been very significant. Mechanical
This Silverado truck is in great shape mechanically. It runs and drives just like it should with lots of power and a smooth running diesel engine. Everything works properly. The engine runs smooth and strong and starts easily even on very cold mornings. It doesn't smoke or leak. The transmission shifts smooth and crisp with no slipping or hesitation. The 4WD system works properly. There are no check engine lights or other warning lights illuminated. The matching Michelin tires have about 75% tread left all the way around. The brakes are good with over 50% pad left all the way around and stop this vehicle firmly without pulling or vibration. The air conditioning blows ice cold. The underside of this truck is clean and dry with no leaks and only the usual surface rust.(see pictures) This truck has spent most of its life in a salt free environment so there is no rust in the body and only surface rust on the frame and underbody. We just serviced this truck with new air filter, fuel filter, and engine oil and filter. It has also had new oil cooler lines(common problem), new alternator, and two new batteries. It has been Virginia State inspected by an independent mechanic. It is ready to drive anywhere.
Exterior
The exterior of this truck is smooth and mirror shiny as you can see from the pictures. There are some minor cosmetic imperfections which I have tried to photograph. The worst is a slight crease on the passenger side door(see picture), Also there are some scratches and chips around the tops of the bed rails(see pictures) and a ding in the corner of the rear bumper(see pictures). The clear coat is starting to release along the edges of the pinstripes on the hood, the top of the cab corner on the rear passenger side of the cab, and on the top of the fender flare above the drivers side front tire(see pictures). Other than some of these minor things this truck looks very nice. The wheels are in good shape as well. I would rate the exterior an 8 out 10.
Interior
The interior of this Chevrolet pickup is really nice and clean. The seats and carpet are clean and free of major stains. The wood trim adds a neat touch especially the engraving in the dash plaque(see pictures) but some of the wood could stand to be refinished. Also the drivers seat cushion sags just a little on the left side bolster. I will try to get my upholstery guy to restuff it before the end of the auction. This truck comes with one set of keys along with the owners manuals and floor mats. Also included are the spare tire and tools. I would rate the interior at least an 8 out of 10.
