This auction is for a 2001 Nissan Frontier SE Crew Cab Pickup in need of an engine repair/replacement. This is a 2WD truck with a 5 speed manual transmission and 3.3L V-6 engine. There are 79K miles on this truck. This SE model is white with a black leather interior, sunroof, tubular roof rack and side steps, bedliner, bed extender, 6 cd stereo, a/c, cruise, alloy wheels. This has been my daily driver to and from work since 2003 when I purchased it from a local Carmax. Truck has never been smoked in and has been in Virginia since 2003. Vehicle was excellent running and fully functional until last week when the engine suddenly failed. I suspect that the timing may have jumped causing severe damage to the engine. Body is straight and clean, no dents, rust-thru, or filler. There are a few minor dings, chips. Paint is original. The interior has no issues other than some wear on the outer side of the drivers seat next to the lever and a scratch on the rear seat. Front brakes have 9K miles on them. A 12mm windshield repair was made three years ago by the Glass Doctor (have receipt). Tires are Avon Ranger 235/70R16 with 14K miles on them. This has been a very versatile vehicle to own over the past few years. Truck is complete and original and it is not running at this time.
