I am being put out to pasture and am selling my unfinished projects. This is one that I should have put on the front of the list but some how it always seemed to be "next" .This truck has a unusal story behind it that I was told when I bought the truck and believe some , all or none of it as I can not confirm it. The truck was built in the Dodge plant in La. California and sold out of a dodge dealership in La. California.It was used on a ranch in big bear cal. and spent most of its life there and owned and operated by the original owner .At some point it was painted camo and used to take hunters to and from the blinds.The man I got it from started the restoration and did a good job to the point he stopped and sold it to me.I have not had to much time to work with it .It has new wiring (painless), interior panels and rubber from Roberts, bed wood and strips,all new glass.It had new brakes and new master cyl . but the wheel cyls will need to be redone because the are leaking.I would say it is about 90 % done and deserves to be finished and used. I will require an $ 1000 deposit paid at the end of the sale by the winning bidder and it will be non refundable.The balance in cash at the time of pick up.I can get a texas tittle for it for the winning bidder at buyers expense. Also I will arrange shipping at buyers expense .If winning bidder can not or will not complete the transaction as described I will offer it to the bidders in order of completion.This is a USED truck and sold as is where is .There is no reserve if there is a bid it will sell ----- ps there is a custom made set of side rails that also go with the truck --- they are made of red oak On Mar-23-11 at 09:31:52 PDT, seller added the following information: There have been request for pics of guages . I had the max allowed so I deleted the ones that were not too good or that were duplicated.There also was a question about if it ran and so i took a pic of the guages as it was running so you could see the oil pressure.Also some of you may be interested in the windshield roll out mechanisim so i rolled it out so you can see it works.I also want to mention again that this truck is a project ( a nice one but a project non the less).The odometer in one pic is not registering in the next i am turning the input to show the odo registering ( there is no cable or cable housing).
