2000 Ford Mustang Convertible, 3.8L V6, 5 Speed Manual Trans, Full Power, Power up/dn top, AC, PS, PB, PW, PM, 4 Wheel ABS Disc Brakes, Mach 460 AM/FM Cassette Stereo, Single CD Player, Tilt, Cruise, Leather, Power driver's seat. This adult owned mustang convertible drives and looks great. A Southern California only car, driven on pavement without salt, and mostly in excellent weather. Very clean underneath. The car was garage kept for at least the last 5 years, is accident free, and has LOW MILES! The car is in great shape for its age, and was only driven about 8,000 miles per year. The original paint is bright and shiny as are the cobra replica 18” wheels. I think anyone would be surprised when they see the car in person, how good it really looks. I have had sevaral strangers going gaga over it even when it wasn't for sale. The pics I took of the interior came out crummy. The camera flash washed out the black carpet. It really looks excellent. The charcoal black leather interior (non-smoker owned) feels and looks good, and the Mach 460 stereo/CD player sounds great. The 5 speed manual trans has a newer clutch and the shifter is factory tight. The convertible top goes up and down automatically with the touch of a button. Except for the upgraded wheels and tires, this car is in original condition with all original exhaust and air intake. 98% rubber remaining on new tires. The V6 pulls well and the car feels zippy and tight, but it is not raced around town and abused, like most GTs are. You will save on gas and insurance with the V6. Regular maintenance is important to me, and I have taken great mechanical care of this car. It is very, very reliable and I have plenty of maintenance records. The engine bay has always been clean and looks new, still has original factory inspection marks. The car exhibits normal wear and tear if you inspect very closely, but probably less than normal for its age. I will have the car detailed and carpet shampooed if you buy the car. Doesn't bother me, but I can replace with new leather for $175 more. There are no holes or tears. Convertible top edge wear in one spot on side(see pic). It must have rubbed, or rubs on something while going up/down. Been there before I bought. Convertible top seam is pulling in one spot on top(see pic). Does not leak there. Window weather stripping torn where window contacts it. Been that way before I bought it (see pic). I will super glue it for now. One 1-1/2" x 1/8" scratch in hood paint (slightly visible in enlarged picture). No dent. I will touch up if you like. BB size ding in rear fender, driver's side just above tire (see pic). Heel wear in carpet under accelerator pedal (a floor mat would cover) I never had a mat. I will buy new mustang mats from the dealer if you buy the car. Minor tiny scratches/scuffs in various areas in the paint, which have not been touched up. It doesn't bother me. I will touch up if you like.
