1999 Saab 9-3 convertible for sale w/150k. 5 spd, Silver w/ black leather interior. This is a Mechanically Sound & Reliable car. I have owned the car for 6 years. It drives quick and handles extremely well. The engine and transmission are extremely solid. Any and all repairs that have been necessary over the years have been performed by 'The Swedish Car Service', the best Saab Shop around in NJ. I was told when purchasing it 6 years ago that it had been dealer maintained up to that point. Paid $10k for the car in 2005. The only reason I'm selling this car is because I have begun driving a work truck daily and dont need 2 vehicles. It has served me well and I love driving it, I just dont need it anymore. I drove this car everyday, mainly highway miles on the NJ Turnpike from Jackson to Rutgers/Kean College. I have taken this on 10+ hour trips in the last couple years and see no reason why it couldnt handle another long trip easily. -NO ACCIDENTS / CLEAR TITLE-Turbo is in great shape-Direct Ignition Coil Pack (including all plugs) were replaced approx 15k miles ago-Viggen Clutch installed 50k miles ago and has TONS of life left-Front Shocks and Struts installed 25k miles ago-Front Brakes 25k miles ago-Radiator Fan Motor / Fan, Thermostat, and a few Vacuum Hoses replaced 2 weeks ago ($600)-Tires have at least 75%+ life left on them. -The Convertible Top is also functional and is in GREAT shape. The switch does have an issue where it cuts out, and you just have to repress it a few times to keep it moving. Happens more often when its <50*.-GREAT GAS MILEAGE, 26-27 MPG in a quick car!! The car DOES have some minor issues. Please read thoroughly. I have tried to price accordingly with these issues in mind for a quick sale. Body has some VERY minor dings here and there, no dents. Rear bumper has very slight impression w/paint starting to chip. Information Display (SID) has most pixels out (tells mpg/time of day- not essential; it is a common problem & could be easily replaced cheaply on ebay or just dealt with). Driver seat is torn/worn heavily, pass seat has tiny 1" tear (driver could just use a seat cover, or you can find seats on ebay ~$100). The center armrest is loose. The SRS/Airbag light is on. The AC blower motor needs a new resistor (I bought this part and it may be changed before listing ends, but at least will be provided). I believe it may need a left control arm; there is a sound coming from the front driver's side of the car when going over bumps/braking hard, although I have been driving the car like this 2+ years without problem (You can find these on here for ~$70). The top also has a very minor leak where it meets the side door, primarily only after its been raining very heavily. The power antenna also does not function. There may be a few other MINOR cosmetic issues with interior, but is in fair shape otherwise. Although the shift knob is shown with the leather off in the photos, I have replaced with a new stock knob. This car is good shape, I just want to be entirely fair and upfront about all know issues due to the nature of the purchase. Im just looking to find it a new home quick. BOTTOM LINE: Although it has a few MINOR issues, and the interior is a little worn, I have always kept this car in great running condition. It should go for another 100k miles easily. If youre looking for a Saab you can get right in and use as daily driver you can count on this one. GREAT LOW PRICE ON A 5 SPEED CONVERTIBLE SPORTS CAR.
