This is a 1974 MG MGB project car. The car was in a front-end collision at one point, and does not currently run. I purchased this vehicle over a year ago with the intention of restoring it. The front end was damaged before I got it, and I was able to drive the car about 150 miles. I installed a new distributor, fuel pump, and rebuilt the carburetor on the car and now it does not run. I suspect the new distributor is not good quality - I still have the original one, but I don't have the time for a project any more. The gas tank was repaired recently, and the car has a new oil cooler and ignition switch. The engine and transmission appear to be in good condition. The starter is bad. The battery works if you charge it, but should be replaced. The car has a moderate amount of rust, but is pretty solid. The convertible top has tears in the fabric. The driver's seat is torn. The radio is missing. The tires are not very good. The electrical system is pretty good - all the lighting works, heater and wipers seem ok The front end will need a new bumper, hood, fender, plus some cutting and welding.
