This vehicle has been owned by my family since original 1985 purchase. It has been garage kept, well maintained and in use until February 2011. The motor was replaced at approximately 45,000 miles and is strong and runs well. Current mileage is 98,273. New tires and exhaust system have been recently installed. The wagoneer has had a few refurbishments such as new paint and replaced woodgrain. There are a few small areas of rust on the body, which is typical with this vehicle. Overall exterior and interior is in excellent condition for the age of the vehicle. The four wheel drive works well. Power windows and power seats in working order. In February it failed to pass PA inspection due to the following items: 4 Body Mounts need replacemnet, rear cross member needs repaired, problem with rear spring mount and two small holes in the floor need to be patched. Rear seatbelts need replaced. Power rear window is operable but sometimes manual assistance is needed. Neither the fuel gauge nor radio is working. To the best of my knowledge, this is all of the problems I am currently aware of. For someone willing to fix what is needed, this classic "woody" will only increase in value. I was not able to find the right person to work on the vehicle, but I know that there are many collectors and enthusiasts that value this classic American vehicle.
